The filling station unit was formed in the year of 2008 february with a view of serving the people of Phulnakhara and Niali Panchayat, since there was no filling station located anywhere nearby 20 kms radius and people had to come all the way to the NH-5 to get the fuel filled up in their automobiles. The filling station is a unit of HPCL(HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LTD). It uses state of the art technology in serving the public like automated billing systems at the pumps and other safety features like auto shut down of the pump system if any kind of fire/ leakage is sensed in the pump system. Since the day of inception of the unit we have achieved a sale figure of 3 lacs Litres of petrol/diesel per month combined. This success in the sales figure was possible with the combined cooperation the HPCL and the filling station staff/management team.
